KSM Starter IDO Deepdive: Gladian
KSM Starter is excited to finally offer its first GameFi IDO, Gladian — a multiplayer, play to earn game in which players can earn tokens from many aspects of gameplay. The game aims to provide a fun game experience to the players by containing RPG elements in itself.
Gladian Overview
Having already developed an advanced minimum viable product, Gladian is a web-based play to earn NFT game, in which players can earn tokens from quests, training, PvP battles, tournaments, item crafting, and buying/selling items on its home marketplace. A simple but addictive gameplay where you can create and upgrade your own NFT Gladiator.
Unlike many crypto game projects, Gladian does not have a fixed game flow. Players can choose between and mix two distinct game styles. They can go on non-stop quests to become rich merchants, they can join PvPs/Tournaments and train to become the strongest gladiators in the Gladian Ecosystem, or they can do a mix of both in Gladian’s freestyle game play!
Unlike other blockchain based games, Gladian is pursuing leadership of a unique niche: algorithmically generated self-renewing RPG-based games that provide players with unique experiences. Importantly, with hundreds of unique quests and items, there are no other games with similar scope and content quantity like Gladian.
Gladian Deepdive
In Gladian, there are more than 100 different collectables of various rarity and value. At the beginning of the game, each player gets one of the default gladiators offered free, gives it a unique name, and makes it their own.
Each gladiator has unique stats that can be improved through game play. They are:
- Strength => Increases Damage
- Agility => Increases Defence
- Intelligence => Increase to Critical Strike and Block to Attacks
The Gladian gaming ecosystem is comprised by the following features:
Training
Gladiators can train on three basic gladiator attributes: Strength, Agility and Intelligence. Players can stake their coins to reduce training time.
Quests
Gladian offers gladiators dozens of quests at three different difficulty levels. Completing each of them comes with their own levels of in-game rewards.
Crafting
Players can use the components they earn from quests and craft items such as swords, shields, and more.
Marketplace
Players can buy and sell everything in-game on Gladian’s marketplace, including the items that they craft, items/components they earn from missions, and even their own gladiator that they upgrade.
PvP Battles
Gladiators can duel each other and bet on the outcome to earn extra GLD Token rewards.
Tournaments
There will be tournaments in several gaming categories every week. Gladiators who participate and win will be rewarded with GLD token rewards.
