KSM Starter: a Gateway to Interoperability

Since its inception, KSM Starter has been meticulously fixated on ensuring that its platform offering provides a unique mix of products that can be of immense value to the early stage projects, and the community. While KSM Starter is a launchpad, the team has always envisioned it as an incubator, accelerator, enabler, and a gateway.

Innovation is often unconventional, and KSM Starter takes pride in its innovative approach that is fueled by both experience and research. Today, we are delighted to unveil one of our core technical features — Moonbeam EVM Integration.

By integrating Moonbeam EVM into KSM Starter, all projects launching on KSM Starter are able to easily facilitate their vision of reaching interoperability by connecting with Polkadot’s canary network. In such a manner, KSM Starter enables newly launching projects to fast-track their interoperability efforts right at launch.

KSM Starter is also aware that many of the larger community in crypto may not be fully aware of how EVMs function, or even how parachains and parathreads are positioned. While education can be a long-term solution to fill this gap of knowledge, KSM Starter believes in empowerment that can motivate education. For this reason, KSM Starter allows the participants to switch between Ethereum and Moonbeam with a simple click of a button.

With this simple switch, KSM Starter aims to become a gateway to interoperability for newly launching projects. Until now, most projects’ interoperability goal has been one of the last steps of their roadmap. However, with KSM Starter, it no longer needs to deserve a place too far out in a project’s life cycle.

Additionally, KSM Starter aims to expand its value offering to not only Moonbeam EVM but also native Substrate, along with other chains such as Polygon. This, KSM Starter believes, is the way to let the product be the value-carrier of the project, and to continue true, disruptive innovation.
